Really? Do you know the reason for it? For me all those Hindu Temples were a place to feel very free and peaceful. I sat hours of hours in such temples and I felt those huge calmness in my heart :) Oh yeah, Beijing *_* I wanna visit the city too! Today I talked with my mum about travelling and I said to her: Oh, I would like to visit Beijing XD
Oh, that's fine for me. I mean, it isn't so long to December, ne? I can't wait to find a date, yay \^^/
Good question ^^ I want to take my cellphone with me but I don't know if it will work. I read in the internet that you can buy a card and use it like a sim-card so you can use the phone with it (it should cost around 20 singapur dollars). I hope, that'll work. But I can give you my cellphone number of course :D
I have no idea. Altho, an ex-friend told me that it's prolly coz I had a very very horrible experience at a hindu temple in a past life (if you believe that sorta thing ^^;). I do have bits and pieces of the 'memory' like..the big puddles of blood and bodies strewn all over the floor and this mustached guy drenched in blood standing in front of a hindu statue (dun remember which god it was).. and errrrmm, someone that was supposed to be me I guess, who was still alive and staring at this oncoming mustached guy. Anyway.. I have no idea what those flashes of images mean, and to tell you the truth.. I dun wanna know *shudders*. I just know that I can't go near a hindu temple or statues. Buddhist temple and Buddha statues dun give me this weird feeling. I was o-ke with walking around the Buddhist temple compound when I was in Phuket.
But I can give you my cellphone number of course Oh, that'll be great! Can you email me the hotel name as well? So that if anything happen, I can leave a message with the receptionist for you. I'll email you my HP number too~ *excited excited*
Yes. I believe in such things. And that sounds really horrible o_O You know, when I came to Bali and made the first step outside of the airport I thought: I'm finally home. I think ... somehow I lived there. Or maybe in Asia. I don't know why, but I feel very close to Southeastasia. It is like ... being home. Finally a place for my soul to rest. Sounds ... strange? *blush*
*laughs* After talking with Jutta yesterday evening I decided to let my cellphone here. I had problems with the connection in Bali and Taiwan, so I think I will have the same problems in Singapore :( But I'll buy me there a new cell phone (a really cheap one ^^) only for the holidays, so that we can talk together :D And yes, I'll mail you the adress :D I made a entry today with the adress of the Hostel, too ^^ *laughs*
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, we'll see us! :D Finally \*_____*/
Finally a place for my soul to rest. Sounds ... strange?
It doesn't sound strange. That's how I feel every time I come back home from vacation or traveling. I actually feel more excited about going home then when I am going to some places away from here. Does that sound strange? ^^;
I 'remember' other stuff from other 'times' too, and even tho some creep me out, those images in the hindu temple were the most horrible.
that we can talk together :D And yes, I'll mail you the adress :D
Yosh! Yeah, I think it's the best that way coz maybe your Germany phone doesn't work here (mine doesn't work in Japan ^^;). You can always re-sell it b4 you go back.. altho you'll prolly won't be paid much.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, we'll see us! :D Finally \*_____*/
No, that doesn't sound strange ^^ I wish, I would have such a feeling, too. But I don't feel really happy here in Germany :|
Yup, I think the same ^^ My cellphone isn't the newest one and I am pretty sure, that the damn thing doesn't work in Singapore ^^ Now I have to find a place where I can buy a new cellphone XD
oh, and I want to try the 'Winter Holiday' package for the Beijing trip..there was one like that when I went to this Travel Fair organised in Kuala Lumpur. I wonder what that package's like. I want to visit the ancient city and climb the Great Wall!
O-ke~ but I'll write the blog in malay and only paste pics of my back in my travel blog (coz I dun want strangers to stare at my fugly face and make rude comments with their friends *is paranoid* XD").. you know, the one I put links in my LJ b4.
Mmmm.. I've been to the UK, obviously a loooong time ago for when I was an undergraduate. Others are: Paris, Toulouse (France); Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai (Thailand), Jakarta, Bandung (Indonesia); S'pore ( a coupla times); All of the states in Malaysia except Sarawak.. gyaaaa! Must go there sometime later; L.A. (USA); Tokyo, Gunma (Japan).. *think* that's it so far :P
That is okay for me :) I am the same like you. I don't like it to show pictures of myself. I am too ugly and too fat :| Because of that I am making only photos of the surrounding area XD
Wow O_O You've seen a lot! And you were in Japan, too \^^/ And Chiang Mai *___*
I visitid the Netherlands (several times ^^), Switzerland, Austria, Tunisia, 2x Crete/Greece, 1xLondon (UK), 1x Phuket/Khao Lak (Thailand), 2x Bali (Indonesia), 1x Taipei/Taiwan.
And many places for a Stop-Over like Brunei, Singapore, Hongkong and so on XDDD
You've been to a lot of places too!! *__* I want to go to Greece too!! I love places with lots of historical sites.. those are really cool~
Chiang Mai was very recent.. and Indonesia too. Since Sumatera (one of the islands of Indonesia) is very close, I could prolly go anytime I want.. but my supervisor would prolly kill me coz of playing around too much hahaha.
Yeah *_* I love it, too! Especially historical places *_* And Greece was very beautiful. I love all those white little houses and the blue ocean. It is so beautiful. I want to upload pictures from my previous holidays :) But at first I have to search the photos *laughs*
Wow. Sumatra. You know, that was one (and is still) my favourites places. I saw many reports about Sumatra and I want to see it. Like Lombok, Indonesia *_*
Gosh, we both need a lottery win, then we could make a huge trip through Asia together :D
