I had a wonderful afternoon, I had veggie pizza and wine with a couple of friends for lunch while we listened to live bluegrass, then we went shopping for fancy cheese and baked goodies and other things and then we got cupcakes at my favorite cupcake place.

Today I have to go to PT and tonight I'm going to Skeptics in the Pub, I just have to wait to hear from my friend who's supposed to pick me up. He'll probably e mail me while I'm in physical therapy.

Spent almost all day out because I couldn't do anything due to the stupid power outage and when I got home the elevators were STILL not working. Good thing I only live on the second floor and not the top one.
Got a weird e mail that seems to be charging someone named Patrick Thomas $300 for a year renewal of Geek Squad by way of some guy named Nick Smith. Sounded like a scam to me especially since I bought this computer a good deal less than a year ago and don't know anybody named Patrick Thomas or Nick Smith and didn't sign up for any yearly renewed membership at Best Buy. Also noticed bad spelling on the e mail. I tried calling Best Buy but was on hold for ages.
Had a nice goat curry for lunch out but most of the rest of the day was kind of disappointing. Lot of places were closed, no movies playing around I wanted to see, my friends were too busy to hang out. Pretty weather though and the pet store was at least open so I got to look at some cool parrots.

Twisted Shadows by Allie Therin

Twisted Shadows by Allie Therin was a masterpiece! It's the sequel to Liar City, a story about an empath and a specialist investigating murders in a world where empaths are tracked down by several organisations.

The author has set up a complex tapestry of characters for a thrilling plot. I can't wait for the final tome.

If you're looking for some wonderful m/m slow-burn, the flirting has reached scorching temperatures!

!Friends Cut (aka "it's not you, it's me")

I just made a pretty substantial Friends Cut - as much as I truly hate to do it, I felt like I had to. If you were cut, it was for either of the following reasons:

-> you had not posted in a very long while (like, before I started this journal a year ago)
-> I did not feel like we had a good enough connection
-> I added you from somewhere but we never communicated since then/I didn't even remember who is behind that username

I know that getting cut from somebody's flist can hurt, but please do know that I truly mean no harm by doing this and it is not intended to be a personal attack in any way, shape or form. After all, it has been me for the most part who hasn't really commented a lot lately...which is another reason, feeling like "having to catch up" was becoming overwhelming.

Just one more thing: please also do me the courtesy to take me off your list as well - you won't be able to read any of my entries anyway since I have set everything to friends only. Thank you so very much, and again, I hope you understand and there won't be any hard feelings.

I sincerely wish you all the very best and hope you are doing well ♥ ♥ ♥

(If you can read this entry, you are still on my flist ;) )

Had some black tea with cinnamon and ginger this morning, then spent several hours having fun at the Haight St Fair, then came back home and did laundry. I'm annoyed that tarot.com seems to be down permanently.
