Traveling around the world...

You know, I am a world traveler ... at least in my mind. And right now I wish I could be far, far away from here.
For today I would love to be in Lombok, Indonesia ♥
Lombok is a little island next to Bali and it looks beautiful. When I've visited Bali I wanted to make a trip to Lombok, but everyone said it wouldn't be a good idea because it would be dangerous o_O
And the people there doesn't like tourists o___O
So, I wasn't brave enough and didn't go to Lombok. But I love it to dream about it :3

It's good to see a post from you : ) I love these travel posts. I wonder why they said it would be dangerous? It looks beautiful there, although not a place I'd like to go...not enough civilization and comfort for me *laughs* I'm not the adventurous sort of traveler.

I'm sorry about your computer, I'm in a similar situation, I hope you can find another without having to spend a lot.

They said it would be dangerous because of the muslim terrorists there o_O
Especially in the middle of the island, so they said to me it would be to dangeroues for a woman without company :|

Not enough civilization? Oh, they have a lot of highclass hotels there :D

Did you lose everything as well? It is so frustrating and painful, because many things there were extremely personal. As example I saved every chat log with Alecs I've had ... and that's lost, too :(

Well, I don't need highclass hotels, I'm not that kind of traveller...I just want, I don't know, a bit of culture, I guess :b I'm not much interested in beaches or jungles and things like that...a tropical paradise would be so wasted on me :D I remember when you posted pictures of a city near you...I thought it was so lovely...I'd rather see that than a tropical paradise^^

I'm not sure if I lost everything because I haven't had anyone look at it yet. Aw hun, I'm sorry you lost such things...it really hurts to lose personal things you can't replace *hugs*

I like a nice mix between both ^^
The best vacation would be for me 1 week a round trip, where I can visit a lot of places and after that I would love to be on a quit place. I like the ocean, but I dislike tourists *lol*
I need a place where it is not so full. Just sitting there, watching the ocean, listening the waves. That's perfect :3
The most important fact for me is nature. I need nature in my near ^^

I'm Indonesian! I've been traveling around europe and i love how you like my country. I love it too!

Yeah, we had a bit hard time lately when the terorist and stupid bom accident happened last month (Which cause : Manchaster United canceling their match in Indonesia!!!). Their hotel was bombed a week before they arrive in Jakarta.

But the forest, jungle and beach..i'm sure they're not dangerous. You can travel and explore them safely. The people..they don't hate tourist, they just to shy and afraid of tourist. Honestly..Indonesians are the warmest people around southeast asia (That's what the government try to sell through "Visit Indonesia Year" project ^o^)

I remember 6 years ago (?) when there were the huge bomb accidents in Bali. God, I was so shocked. I met some people who lost their friends or members of their family in those attacks :(
I'll never understand it. Never.
I was two times in Bali and it was so, so wonderful. I met so many great people and found really friends there. I wish I could live in Indonesia :D

The bomb which i'm talking about just happen a month ago...they bombed J.W Marriotts and Ritz Carlton Hotels in Jakarta (and Manchaster United has already booked their stay for the friendly match with Indonesian team)...
