Here is the first part of the pictures which I made at the zoo in Stuttgart! Awww, we had such a wonderful day together. It was hot, sunny, the sky was blue and everything was fine! I really love it to remind me on this day. It was sooo cool! ;D

We started in a "house" full of plants, cacti and flowers. I liked it and wanted to make a lot of pictures, but I was a little bit afraid of using Juttas digicam ^^ ... and oh yes, in the corner of the picture you can see a little bit of my favourite skirt :P

And I have no idea what I wanted to show you with this picture ... maybe more plants? ;)

A lot of flamingos ^^

Kois :)

Actually I wanted to make a picture of another bird, but I can't find it in the picture )=
Photobucket

In the left corner you can see a little bit of three bird babies ^^ They were cute and so fluffy :D
Photobucket

Sloths ;P
And yay, they were really lazy ^^
Photobucket

The Zoo was beautiful because there were a lot of nature and little parks :3
Photobucket

That is one of my favourite pictures ^^

Photobucket

This snake was kinda 4 meters long ôo

This damn bird was really interested in my skirt and wanted to pick me all the time :|
Photobucket

Monkeys, but they were extremely fast so it was quite impossible to make a good picture
Photobucket

Photobucket

ORLY? O.O
Photobucket

OMG the gorilla baby was so, so adorable. On the right you can see her dad, on the left her mummy ^^
It was interesting to see how the gorillas acted. Extremely adorable was one moment, when the daddy tried his baby to raise (is that the right word? ^^) his daughter, but the mommy pushed his hand aside like: Don't touch my little girlie! :P
Poor daddy ^^
Photobucket

Photobucket

More monkeys ^^

Can you see the little baby? ;P

Photobucket

And damn aggressive ó.ò

I'd love to go back to Stuttgart, especially to see the Medieval and Celtic things in the museum.

Very much! It certainly changed the way I look at the world. When I left the US it was the era of Ronald Reagan. I had mostly been interested in art and the humanities and didn't know much about politics, governments, etc. So in Europe I had the chance to compare for myself the 'conservative' American beliefs with the dreaded Socialism! I see that every group of people has their own ideology, some of it based on accurate facts, some not, but in Germany the system just worked better for everyone. While I was gone there was a big change in American thinking; it went from not caring too deeply about anything to extreme religiosity, intolerence of various groups, and of course hatred between the political parties.
I wish we had a multi-party system so groups like the Libertarians and Greens could have some influence in our government.

Apart form all the social stuff, I enjoyed the weather, the landscape, the food, the historical sites, and the friendly people. When I was off duty I could truly relax. Part of the time I lived in Heidelberg, part in Frankfurt. Of course any city will have some dirt and dangerous areas, but nothing like here. Americans don't know that you can have a safer, cleaner, less stressful life if you are willing to pay more taxes and enforce 'small' laws, like not letting your car engine idle. I also appreciated how strict they were about preventing cruelty to animals. I think your school and apprenticeship system is tougher than ours, but when you get that diploma it really means something.

Wow, that sounds really impressed :)
I am not a huge fan of Germany. Maybe because I lived here for my whole life, you know? But I like the history (except the 2 World War), the landscape, the culture. But not the people *laughs*
But Germany has indeed good sides :)
And Heidelberg is such a beautiful place. And I know Frankfurt, because I only live 30 minutes away from the city ;P
But I prefer the airport of Frankfurt more ;P

The zoo was so beautiful. Everything was so green and blooming, the sun was shining and the sky was so blue. It was a wonderful day :)

I am thinking the same. I would love it to see all the animals in freedom, but unfortunately many of them are not safe outthere. It is so, so sad :(

Somehow I don't like macedonia ._.''
