Book I
[Finished]
Summary:
The Blackwater Lands, a mysterious and inaccessible land in Faerûn, is ruled by the High Elf Trálír the Elder. During a hunt in the dark forests, his son, the future ruler, meets the young fisherman's daughter Anwyn, who has suffered a minor injury. Contrary to his father's behavior, who loathes the humans and half-elves of these lands, Trálír helps the young woman out of her predicament and takes a genuine interest in her and her life.
Under the watchful eye of his father and the dark desires of his younger brother, Trálír falls in love with the young woman, who reciprocates his feelings. Will they be able to find happiness, even if a dark curse and his family's bloody past prove to be the greatest danger?
